I feel really disillusioned with the process. It almost seems like they’re selling unrealistic expectations to applicants. Even after scoring 98.98 percentile, being a GNEF, and having 8/8/8 academics, I still got rejected. It makes me question why they even shortlisted me for the interview in the first place.

The selection process feels like a black box…there’s very little transparency, and they don’t even release a composite score. After a year of hard work, it’s frustrating to feel like the outcome depends on subjective factors like the panel’s mood or personal bias. It sometimes seems like the focus is more on candidates who are already earning well, rather than evaluating potential holistically.

I know I’m venting, but it’s genuinely frustrating..especially when they take so long to release results, keep thousands of candidates waiting, and call such a large number of people for interviews without clear evaluation criteria.
