Hi, I am a student about to go to college, and I would really like to know how to find out if ECE is a stream I would like. What are some things I can do to understand what ECE will be like?

I just finished writing JEE Advanced, but I’m not sure about which stream I should choose. I got 6XXX rank in Mains, so Tier-2 NITs are open to me along with some IIITs.

Since today morning I’ve been trying to figure out how to decide between CSE and ECE in particular. I landed up at the CS50 course but am debating whether to take it or not. Any suggestions for steps I can take before the academic year begins, to sort of figure out which I will like better? I am also open to suggestions for the other streams. TIA
