Please review my draft itinerary review and share your thoughts!

Hello

We (4 adult and 1 four-year-old) are planning a trip to Costa Rica in early September. Below is the topline itinerary. I would love to hear your thoughts as I am debating about these:

  1. Shall we just choose two locations instead of three? If so, which one to cut?
  2. Shall we spend more time at Tortuguero, and cut down the time La Fortuna or even skip it?
  3. I wonder if we drive or take shuttle?

Any tip is greatly appreciated!

Day 1 to 2: Fly to SJO and then head to Tortuguero Village

Day 3 to 5: Travel to Puerto Viejo de Talamanca

Day 6 to 8: La Fortuna

Day 9: Return to US

Wired question

I know this is wired but I think Reddit is filled with interesting people so I am going to ask!

I was laid off a few months ago, and started volunteering at homeless shelters. I want to provide meals for the homeless but we have not gone out to eat for more than two months…

This is the question- I have treated my boss who fired me a $20 meal ( I know ..stupid me) and gave $50 to a coworker as a wedding gift . He never bothered to say thank you, or reached out afterwards.

I want to ask them to give the money back so that I can use it towards meal preparation in the shelter. We have the money to provide basic food but I really want to cook a good meal.

I know it is not nice to ask the money back but given what happened, maybe they would understand?
