Hey! I'm going to be playing my first game of 40k soon with a friend who's playing Dark Angels, and had a few questions about making a list/any advice for a first timer.
I have been messing around with this list quite a bit, trying to get as close to 1000pts as possible since neither of us really has the money nor time for a 2000pt game. When I first started out, I really just wanted to paint and loved the look of the tactical squad. Over the next few months, and doing some more research, I ended up settling on the BA as my first army, and bought the Combat Patrol box. For christmas, my brother got me the redemptor dreadnought, and I also ended up getting the 5 infernus squad models from the combat patrol magazine.
I know this probably isn't the most 'meta' or even good list, but I'm hoping it's at least playable. If it is, what tips would you give yourself if it was your first game?
