Airtel Scam
I recharged with an Airtel ₹151 plan that claims to offer unlimited 5G. I already have a base plan with 6 months of validity, and I added this ₹151 plan on top of it because it promised unlimited 5G.
I checked the terms and conditions, and there was nothing that clearly restricted this unlimited 5G offer. Initially, this add-on was valid for only 3 months. After raising multiple queries on X, they finally extended it to match my existing plan validity of 6 months.
However, the add-on pack is basically useless. I am not getting 5G internet at all. I have good 5G coverage at my home, but my existing data (around 5GB) got consumed, and now there is no internet.
They are saying that my network might be on 4G, which is why unlimited 5G is not working. This does not make sense. I am planning to raise a complaint with TRAI. If anyone has experience with TRAI complaints or can guide me to a senior customer support contact, please help.
