I could never stick to a morning meditation routine, until I started using scent

For the longest time, I just couldn't get my brain to quiet down for morning meditation. Before I even closed my eyes, my mind would already be racing through my to do list for the day. A few weeks ago, I started experimenting with a specific ""scent trigger"" just a hint of cedarwood that I only use during my practice. Honestly, it’s been a total game changer. It’s like my brain has been conditioned to recognize the smell as a signal that it’s time to slow down and be present. Does anyone else find that a certain scent helps you ""drop in"" to your state of mind faster?
