I want to make a 200 page manga one-shot, but I have a problem.

I don’t have a good idea.

I can draw, and I really want to start tomorrow. But every idea I think about feels boring or too simple. Sometimes I start thinking, but after a few minutes, my brain just goes blank.

It feels like I want to build a big story, but I don’t know where to start.

Do you guys make the full story first, or just start drawing and create the story while drawing?

Also, how do you get ideas when you feel like you have no imagination?

If you ever had this problem and finished a one-shot, please share your experience. I really want to learn.
