Avoid Denali Grande/Bluffs

TL;DR Feeling Misled..

Just started working here for the season and I have to say, I’m pretty disappointed with how this was all handled.
The daily housing rate we’re charged is noticeably higher than other properties in the area, and yet the accommodations don’t come close to justifying it. No running water, no flushing toilets, heat and serve food, and no WiFi anywhere near the rooms. Even after we get water people are saying we’re going to have to ration and limit our water usage as to not disrupt the guests access.

When I raised concerns, the response from management was essentially “toughen up or find somewhere else.” Not exactly the welcome you’d hope for after relocating for a job.

My biggest issue isn’t even the conditions themselves, it’s the lack of transparency upfront. Had any of this been clearly communicated during the hiring process, I would have made a different choice. There are other properties out there, and I would have happily gone to one of them.
Has anyone else dealt with this? Is this normal for this area, or did I just land in a particularly rough spot?

I stayed at this hotel a few years ago when it was still the old Extended Stay. Had a bad run-in with who I assume was the front desk clerk, a guy named Robert.

Fast forward to now: I flew into town for work and saw the place had changed hands and was now an Aspen property. Lo and behold, when I tried to walk in (at noon, mind you), the front door was locked. I waved at the person behind the desk, they unlocked it, and then Robert came tearing around the corner shouting at me that they were closed.

Avoid this place ( Read the reviews from 100’s of other people )
