Storage questions.

Hello fellow Mustang owners! Just bought my 2017 GT manual a few months ago and I wanted to make sure I store it correctly. Due to my work I am often out of town for 30-90 days or so. In the past I had a good friend of mine run my car about once a week (Hyundai) to run everything through. However I’m not sure if that’s the best practice for my GT. Installing a battery tender won’t really be an option since it will be outside under a car cover. Now what do you guys think is best? Should I just pour in some fuel stabilizer and unplug my battery? Or should I have my buddy come and start it up once a week or every two weeks and just let it run for 10 minutes? Unfortunately my buddy can’t drive stick so he won’t be able to take it around the block. I live in south AZ so it gets nice and toasty so in addition to a car cover I also have an overhead tarp to minimize direct sunlight. Thanks guys. My first V8 Mustang and I’m absolutely loving it.

Hey guys, so I often leave town for a month to three months at a time due to my work. In the past I had a good friend come by and start my car up once a week so everything can cycle, however that was with my 4 cyclinder Hyundai. What do you guys think is best practice for my 2017 Gt? Should I also have him turn it on once a week so that everything can run through? Or should I just pour a fuel stabilizer in the gas tank and unplug my battery? Unfortunately he can’t drive stick so driving it around the block is out of the question. My particular vehicle is a bit higher (105k) mileage but the last two owners seemed to take really good care of it and of course I want to do the same. Thank you guys. I love this car and want it to last.
