Linen that looks like denim?

This heat in Bangalore is getting out of hand. I’ve always been a denim guy, but this summer it’s honestly getting uncomfortable to wear them all day. A couple weeks back I was just browsing around for lighter options (not really expecting to find anything close to denim), and I randomly came across these linen pants that looked like jeans. Looked a bit gimmicky at first, but I gave it a shot and bought one pair.

Wasn’t expecting much, but they’re actually super lightweight and breathable while still giving that denim look.

Now I’m curious has anyone else tried switching fabrics for summer or are you all just powering through jeans?

Just visited this 40 year old denim store in Bangalore

I heard quite a lot about this store “Vashi’s House of Jeans” on Commercial Street from a lot of people. So I thought I’d give it a shot. It’s a nice experience I’d say it’s quite an old store they’ve been around since 1985 even before Levi’s and other international brands had entered the Bangalore market. What I liked about it is that they do your ALTERATIONS in 30 mins be it length waist or a bit of tapering. I was helped by a staff the minute I walked in and he assisted me till I found my right pair. They’ve got denims, linens pants, formal pants, summer pants, casual pants for Men’s and for ladies under one roof?!? I know it’s quite hard to believe. Their pricing was decent compared to other fast fashion brands say between 1200 to 3000.
