Amul whey powder vs Amul high protein buttermilk/lassi
Question 1:
How is it that per gram of protein, the liquid lassi/buttermilk in tetra packs is cheaper than they powdered dry whey?
2kg plain whey powder price = ₹3500
Price per gram of protein = 3500 / 60 sachets / 25g protein in each sachet = ₹2.33
High protein lassi/buttermilk pack of 30 tetra packs price = ₹750
Price per gram of protein = 750 / 30 tetra packs / 15g of protein in each tetra pack = ₹1.67
Question 2:
Would the high protein lassi/buttermilk have poorer absorption of protein compared to whey powder? Any other disadvantage over the whey powder?
