I have a 1968 Constellation ref. 168.018, sadly not with an original buckle. Does anybody know, which buckle this model came with, so I can start searching for one? I have a gold plated version.

I’ve been low key searching for a 40mm Explorer II for a while now and came across this specific watch, and while browsing, the Datejust popped up, too.
I do have other vintage watches, but no Rolex, and therefore am far away from being able to analyse a listing just by pictures.
The Datejust is from the early 80s, and the Explorer II is mid 90s. Both seem to have been polished somewhere down the road (maybe even too much? The clasp on the DJ looks pretty faded in spots, could be the photo though). Also the part where the bracelet inserts at 6 on the Explorer looks to be an uneven fit, not sure if it’s only the angle.
Parts seem to all be original as far as I can tell at least, although I can’t find many dials for the DJ that don’t have anything like Swiss Made at 6 and wider indices at 6 and 9.
Anybody notice some red (or green) flags with one of these?

Hallo zusammen,
wir haben günstig eine Swing2sleep erstanden und sind nach dem Aufbau etwas verwundert über die Halterung, an welche der Motor gehangen wird.
Es geht um diese Konstruktion mit dem „Stern Griff“, wie es in der Anleitung heißt, also das Teil, was oben am Bogen befestigt wird und den Haken enthält, an dem der Motor hängt.
Man dreht eine Mutter auf das Gewinde des Haken, darüber eine Unterlegscheibe und dann von unten durch das Loch im Gestell. Von oben dann noch eine Unterlegscheibe, dann so eine Art Feder Scheibe und schließlich den Stern Griff. Es steht explizit dabei, dass das ganze fest sein soll.
Egal wie sehr ich mich anstrenge, ich krieg das Teil zwar fest in dem Sinne, das man es nicht mehr weiter reindrehen kann, aber die Konstruktion ist nicht fest, da der Stern Griff die Feder Scheibe nicht komprimieren kann. Wenn ich an dem Haken ziehe, wird die Feder Scheibe komprimiert, unten schaut dann aber auch Gewinde raus. Soll das so sein? Irgendwie wirkt das strange.
Hat jemand zufällig das gleiche Teil und kann sich erinnern oder mal nachschauen, wie es bei ihm/ihr aussieht?

The black dial version seems to be rare, at least there are not many pictures I could find online to compare.
