Moved /home and adjusted grub after removal of windows, now no USB boot
on my Dell XPS 15, I had a dual boot.
I removed my old windows partition and moved my /home to that partition.
I updated /boot/UEFI by removing the windows folder.
then ran update-grub.
now it boots directly to Linux Mint as intended.
however:
booting from USB doesn't seem to work?
if I plugin a USB drive (with the Linux Mint installation on it) the laptop just keeps rebooting.
if I hit F12, I get the boot menu, but the USB stick is not showing up there.
any suggestions?
