My name is Sam and i've bene publishing ideas and suggestions here from a little while now, maybe some of you even recognize me.
I really love this game and you all people, and i've put much effort and spent a lot of time working on ideas to hopefully inspire and amuse devs, modders and everyone who enjoy the game.
But to this moment, i've shared a really small part of my work. At the same time i cannot dedicate more of my time doing this, 'cause i've had some problems and i need to change and focus on myself.
But all my stuff would be gone if i leave like this, and all this time and energy i've put in it would be wasted, so here's my idea: let's share everything!
Sure, i cannot make it all in once, i would like explain my ideas widely and i have suggestions on different parts of the game but i will progressively share my work here. I hope you enjoy and excuse me for my grammatical errors because i'm not a native speaker.
Today i would like to talk about some new hypotetical new Creature traits, mainly Body traits.
I'm not sure every traits belongs to the right group, but they can be relocated later.
I didn't pick any particular specie to assign the traits to but, those traits could fit some of the already ingame creature very well, and it obviously could fit to new ones too. I neither decided which biome can trigger which trait, or which achievement unlocks them, but to me it's quite easy and fast to do cause they can be linked one another very well, and can be done later. But most important, adding new traits can give longevity to the game since you have to unlock or look for them around.
More traits=more achiement=more time and effort to complete the game=more fun
Not all the concepts are polished, but it is just to give you an idea about them. And hey, make it exist first, it can be always improved later (in this case not by me).
Here I've listed some interesting traits introducing new mechanics.
•Acid Blood (as in game)
•Acid Touch (as in game)
•Bottomless (+100% max hunger, to recover a single hunger point it needs x10 food)
•Cyborg (+ 20% armor, +100% stamina, +20 base damage,+5 attack speed when enters in water, generate a lightning and take damage periodically)
•Death Touch (has a 33% chance to give instant death to creature by melee attack if the creature doesn't have "Hard skin" "Pigskin" traits and "Exoskeleton" subspecie trait, and "Bubbles" status)
•Electrocharged (has higher chances to be struck by a lightning, +5 attack speed)
•Ethereal (can't deal or be dealed phisical damage)
•Explosive (when it's involved in an explosion, it explodes too, opposite: "Explosion-proof". Description: "KABOOM".)
•Fire Blood (as it is in game)
•Fire Touch (when attacking using melee attacks has 33% of giving "Fire Burns" and 33% chance of set a target on fire)
•Flamable ( it catches fire when it's near a flame source, but it hasn't necessarly to touch it. It's stays on fire even in water unless you use your power like "Divine Light" to estinguish it. Fire deals double damage to it.)
•Heliophobia (same as in game)
•Loud Moving (can be spotted further, opposite: "Silent Moving", description: "you can hear them before you see them")
•Magnetic (It can be obtained by a creature while having "Magnetized*" status with a 1% chance. Can steal metal weapons, armor. Can push away pull a creature with metal gear, and steal metal from warehouse and extract it from a source from distantce.)
•Moldy ( chance to get it. Cannot be set on fire, -10% speed, +2% armor. opposite: "Flameable" and "Self Ignition" traits. Fire elementals and skull can't have it. Still gets the 75% damage from fire)
Moonblessed (50% chance if the world age isn't day to get 5 to 10% max health)
Mute (as it is in game)
Nonconductor (cannot get damage from lightnings and electric attacks.)
Pigskin (Immune to Midas touch, death touch and it also take -50% damage from lightnings. opposite:Soft skin)
Poisonous (as in game)
Radioactive*: (this trait has a 0,1% chance to be given each second a creature stays in Wasteland biome tile and 0,5% chance to be given each second a creature stays in a Radioactive* biome one. It can be given when a creature is exposed to a nuclear bomb and survives. Entities with this trait have a 1% chance to give "Radiation Sick"* status and a 0,1% to give "Radioactive" trait itself to other entities around them. Unless they don't have the "Radiation Immune"* trait, they also get 3% damage with a 10% chance and a 1% chance the "Radiation Burns" and (separately) "Radioactive Hunk"** trait periodically. Living buildings and boats don't take damage from having it. Periodically it has a chance to remove "Tumor Infection" from a creature. Tumor creatures gets double damage. Can be removed with Divine Light.
•Restless (has +400% stamina and indipendently from its sleep cycles subspecie trait, they don't need to sleep but have -5 lifespan. Opposite: "Sleepy"* )
•Rotting Meat (they have 0,1% chance to become skeleton (not sure about that) and 0,1% chance to disappear each month. Maybe should be named "Decomposing" instead, but decomposing could be a status given by this trait too. Let's see)
Selenophobia(they take 10% damage by the moon in ages with no sunlight)
•Silent Moving (If they somehow aren't seen first, they can arrive real close to another entitiy without it noticing. Opposite: "Loud Moving", description: "Masters of sneak attack")
•Sunblessed (as it is in game)
•Tainted Blood (they can spread this trait while fighting, dying or taking damage, to all creature around them and to the creature they are riproducing with when reproducing. They have a chance 10% to get 5% damage periodically. Their offspring has a 50% chance to have it too. Can be removed by Divine Light. Opposite "Immune***" "Immunodeficiency***" and "Tainted Blood Immune***")
Titans Lung (as it is in game)
Venomous (as in game)
Water Blood (They splash water like a geyser when they die and can't be set on fire, opposite: "Flameable", "Flame Blood" )

After saying that, let's continue with
I've listed so many different immune-like traits because i've loved how the actual "Immune" traits works, as a short of universal immunity, but to me it would work better as an "umbrella trait" with also other specific traits for each disease.
Let's say i would like to make a creature immune to zombie diseases but i want it vulnerable to the plague. With the actual "Immune" trait i couldn't but with my hypotetical ones i could.
I also felt the necessity to differenciate more the health bonus and regeneration, so i introduced other grade traits, to have various intensity of regeneration, or more amounts of health. I made many of them compatible (they're not opposite one to another), even if they give bonus and malus, so you can adjust your creature stats more freely.
About the various diseases and bad medical situations I descrived as traits let's say that living in worldbox would be terribile at this point, wars, disasters and mad gods are enough and our little people shouldn't suffer more than that, but our world can be cruel as well and we can soffer too, and pain is real. But i also think that having more kind of traits inspired by real life medical conditions would make the game more detailed and realistic to observe. And last and surely not least i think that sharing and briefly explaining those medical conditions and adding some dedicate mechanics can spread some awareness about them, expecially amongst younger people playing the game. Representation can be useful when it's focus in on inform others. It's still a game but its important it can also teach something.

DISEASES AND PATOLOGIES
I want to share here the most part of the disease-linked trait even if they belong to other categories to give context to the content i've listed before and to try to gather all the diseases in one post, to try to change the theme for the next ones. It's important to talk about them i agree as i said before, but i don't want you to think i all my future suggestion are "sad" like this. I know it's not about being sad or happy. At least, we are talking about a videogame, and i don't even know if some of the features i've proposed are appropriate, and i apologize if they are not. My vision in the game and my focus are on being realistic and some aspect of my propose may seem cruel, and they are, but it's what a God, if it exists, would see if "playing worldbox with us".
As i will do for the statuses, i leave to your free interpretation for the effects, the behaving, the obtaining and the characteristics of the various diseases
But i assure you next posts will be more "light" and less gross too.
