Well worth the entire watch. Fun idea’s like this add so much to the game. I’m sure we’ll see more of this challenge but go support Animal’s channel, like, subscribe, the biz

What a great bracket. This game is amazing and so are the people that play it. A big thanks to everyone who entered, streamed, and tuned in

Anybody that’s new to the game, Welcome. Don’t get discouraged. Do your best to get over that initial hump and see some tangible improvement. This is a great game to make friends through and I hope to see many of you at Evo

Patch culture can be rough, but it can also be really awesome. We used to see this ditto a LOT. Stango, Beastly, Switch, Sophilo, Acorn, Sapphire, W, even CakeAssault was going Zetter for one patch. Now it’s become a little more rare and all the more iconic imo

Recently Salt and Sophilo had a really good set against each other and Sapphire and Sophilo did as well. Whereas earlier in the game’s life I might’ve tuned out after seeing the ditto so many times I’m more and more excited to see it nowadays. We’ll definitely feel that way about Kragg as well I think. We used to almost always see 2 Kraggs at least in each top 8. Now I get excited when we even get 1. And the Kragg ditto feels like a classic

All this is to say that patch culture can feel like shit when your character gets taken down a few pegs, but for the competitive scene (when it’s done right) it can definitely enrich the viewing experience. With melee we’ve kinda seen more and more fox dittos over time. During the pandemic it was insane how many fox dittos were in top16. But in Rivals2 it seems we’re seeing dittos in bracket happen less and less. Which testifies to the balance of the game, but more importantly imo, makes dittos that much more exciting to watch.
