Hi everybody, I’d like to make a basic phone app that acts as a plant journal for my garden. I’d like to put an NFC tag / QR code on my wooden plant stakes (labels), and be able to tap the tag every time I garden to log the activity from that day & see historical logs. Examples of a log entry could include photos and text, date planted, variety, expected date to harvest, etc. I’m not sure the best way to go about building this - any advice is much appreciated!

A local coffee roaster constantly has free burlap sacks available that they receive their coffee beans in. Do you all have any creative ideas on how to upcycle these? I have historically used them for frost protection in my garden, don’t have much sewing experience (any sewing experience) but am curious about what may be possible with them! Seems like a really cool material to work with, that has a lot of potential!

Is this garlic mustard in my garden? And if so - edible? Or too large?
