"So Close" is the most underrated song from the Layne era

Of course, songs like Frogs or Shame in You (I know, I'm a huge self-titled fan, lol) are highly underrated by the masses. But the distinction is that most Alice in Chains fans with more knowledge about the band know how incredible these songs are.

That's why I want to talk about this song. It's short, dirty/punk, angry, and hits hard. Jerry's riffs at their finest, Sean with his tight drumming, Mike's thumping bass, and of course Layne with his glorious vocal layering effects. I'd actually argue that Layne's voice is at its strongest in the entire album on this song, especially during the chorus.

Why, then, do people ignore it? It's literally the least streamed song from the Layne Staley era, ignoring a few boxset releases or Love Song and Iron Gland. I don't see people talking about it in the community hardly ever, either. Does anyone else feel this way?
