After hundreds of attempts, I am so proud to have FINALLY slain Melania. This is my first ER playthrough and I really wanted take her down solo. Folx in this subreddit me so good advice on how to approach this boss battle, I tried Cold and Lightning Nagakiba but I couldn't stack damage/bleed fast enough. I never got the parry down, but I did arrive at a nifty set up with Flame of the fell God, Queen's Black Flame, and lightning bolt to proc WFD. (It was important to me that slay this demigod, with a +10 Godslayer Greatsword. I had to make Hewg proud)

This is probably one of my cleanest phase 1 attempts. I landed the FFG/QBF combo and poise break to eat up two-thirds of health. I had a decent set up for the beginning of phase two, but kinda panicked part way thru and was just running to stay alive lol (I sped up the video at those sections).

The last third of the fight was clutch tho. I got a lucky great heal in, some choice dodges of WFD and the clone attack, and a perfectly timed poise break thanks to the burning AOE from Flame of the Fell God. Crystal hard tear is an honorable mention. Even with 60 vig, I would take too much damage in phase 2, so the extra damage resistance made all the difference.

Now on to the Ashen Capital!
