Anyone else in this waiting situation? VA website says April, 2026 claim average is 72 days, and I'm more than double that so curious if anyone else is getting screwed orrr being made to wait by God orrr something else
Veteran Affairs has been in the spotlight lately, in Congress, the news, articles online, and you guys are still out here posting all your personal finances. Will you guys just stfu about it for once? It's not just about you and your wallet or pocketbook, it's about future veterans as well, so stfu, it's a public website, this shit is not veteran verified website, it's public, use your brain and be smart.
Initial Claim.
Still pending about five months for Internally "Tracked" Item request. VA requested a single record from VA medical. They requested it, extended that request, requested again, requested again, and requested again. Now on it's fourth or so request.
I sat down with VERA a couple times and talked with VERA on the phone. I did an evidence waiver five weeks ago but on the API tracker is still says: "evidenceWaiverSubmitted5103": false. Has a single human ever ACTUALLY looked at my claim? Or has it been all AI bots kicking it back to NWQ after 30 days over and over and over and over and over again? I also have a priority request on it for about a month now.
All DBQ's completed four months ago, never missed one. I don't have a VSO, filed myself. Is it time to get a VSO or Congressman or whatever involved or should I wait more? Claim currently has priority processing on it....
My claim is at six months, all dbqs done four months ago and I did an evidence waiver one month ago.
So, I had a sit down with vera today. They said my claim is in nwq because they're waiting on my personnel records. Are those required for an initial C&P claim, or did the rep. missspeak? I know they requested a third party medical record five months ago and gave the same date for my "personnel records request" but the VA hasn't brought "personnel records" to my attention until today or at the most a month ago when I called vera. Is vera accurate here saying personnel records are required or are they possible saying personnel records meaning str's or something. Thanks.
