Pacific Wildlife Rehabilitation Center?
I wanted to reach out to find more info. I recently found two baby crows out of their nest, and no means to put them back. I took them with me, then called the wildlife rehabilitation center hotline to see how to proceed. The lady on the hotline was very nice, and she was calling out of Paso. She said I made the right call taking them with me, and that I should bring them to the rehab center in Morro Bay.
They were closing for the day though, and I didn’t have enough time to make it in time, so as per the hotline’s advice, I kept the crows overnight to bring them in the next morning.
While looking up the rehabilitation center for their hours and address, I came across reviews, which had a concerning number of one-star reviews, all claiming to have similar grievances about suspiciously high euthanasia rates. Normally, I know the odd one star review isn’t out of the ordinary, but this particular case has me worried, because I couldn’t really find much info that contradicts it.
I wanted to as if anyone local to Morro Bay or more familiar with the PW has anymore info. If necessary, I’m willing to pass it by on my way to get these little guys into good hands.
