Just finished a macbook pro A1990 battery replacement. While I was connecting the new battery, I heard a slight spark sound and a slightly off smell. Now when I plug the device into the charger, nothing comes up. Theres no sign of power at all to the device. I did change it with an ebay battery, if that info helps. I left it charging for a bit, reseated the battery, did all the reset keys and not even a slight sign of power. I tried reconnecting the old battery for a second by holding the connector together and nothing came up. Did I fry the board? Or is it just some weird issue needing to be worked out? Not sure what to test with the multimeter or seeing if I let it charge for half an hour will fix the issue. Any help?
