So it’s been about a year since I’ve read SOTR so forgive me if I miss something here but I’ve always wondered why snow didn’t just pull a beete on haymitch and reap his brother or girlfriend ( or perhaps both ) as a punishment ? It would’ve been a quite tragic lovestory for the capitol, haymitch being the only mentor for his sweetheart and having to watch her die ( because snow obviously wouldn’t let her win )
