Basically, one of my friends is really, *really* bad at cooking. In the past few weeks alone, he's burnt 2 pizzas in the oven, multiple times forgot he was boiling water to the point it all boiled off, somehow broke a plate trying to make popcorn, has overcooked ramen (how tf do you overcook ramen?), etc. (note he's genuinely incredibly smart and in his final year of undergrad then probably going to upper-grade, just can't cook) He's set alarms, followed instructions, etc and still fucks his meals up more often than not. I've been planning on getting him "cooking for dummies" as a gag gift for his birthday, but does anyone else know any more apt books I could get him?
