Using tech in a small church

Hi

I go to a very small church which isn't very techy. However as I am technically minded I have been volunteering to do the techy stuff. Operating the laptop during services for powerpoints and worship videos and more recently I have created a website for the church, which didn't have one before.

I would love to hear from other people in small churches. How are you using technology to help your congregations?

I’ve been building a Star Trek project in my spare time called Episode Atlas and thought some people here might enjoy it.

It’s an interactive way to explore Star Trek episodes across the different series.

I wanted something where I could:

  • track every episode I’ve watched across all series
  • see my overall completion %
  • dip into any series and quickly mark progress

It started as a fun side project for myself as a Trek fan, but it’s grown over time.

Would love feedback from other Trek fans, especially on things that would make it more useful or fun to explore.

🖖
