I’m a yank, and fantasize all year about cycling village to village, not on offer in the US. I got what I wanted in SW Germany and Czechia last year. Quebec, less so in ‘23. A British cyclist told me he enjoyed how very different the cyclescape in SW Germany was from that of England. I haven’t cycled in the UK, just hitched in ‘84 and ‘90. Can anyone help me understand?
