Hey everyone,
I literally started my ambience/aesthetic YouTube channel today and I wanted honest feedback from people who understand YouTube better than me.

The channel focuses on:
forest rain ambience
thunder sounds
mountain/nature visuals
peaceful aesthetic vibes
sleep/study relaxation videos

I uploaded a few Shorts and one 30-minute ambience video today. Surprisingly some Shorts already crossed around 50-100 views in the first few hours, but the long video barely moved.

I wanted to ask:
Is this niche still worth doing in 2026?

Should I focus more on Shorts or long videos?

Are my titles/thumbnails too basic?

Does uploading many videos on day 1 help or hurt?

Should I keep one consistent aesthetic/theme?

Is using Pinterest-inspired visuals okay if heavily edited?

Any advice for growing ambience channels?

How long did your channels take before getting traction?

I genuinely enjoy making peaceful rain/nature content, but I also don’t want to accidentally kill the channel on day one by doing everything wrong.
Would appreciate any advice from creators here 🙏

I honestly don’t know what I’m doing wrong with my YouTube channel anymore.
I post Islamic reminder shorts and put effort into the editing, captions, hooks, thumbnails, everything… but my views barely move and no one subscribes. It feels like I’m posting into a black hole at this point
I’m not asking for fake praise. I genuinely want honest feedback.

What’s wrong with my content?
Is it the editing?
The pacing?
The topics?
The thumbnails?
The titles?
Or is this niche just hard to grow in?
