I bought an abomination for my Pentax 17 and I’m ready to walk the walk of shame.

So, I regularly forget to remove the cap of my P17. Last roll I missed 3/72 shots, including some highly anticipated ones of my two-year old.

Yes, the blue light does blinky-blinky, but I often think it’s the ‘It’s Portra 400 overexposed during daytime blinky-blinky’ instead of the ‘Get the darned cap off blinky-blinky’.

Enter the most hideous of hideous caps you can ever put on your rangefinder. Yes, I’m willing to let go of my ego and use the cap of shame to never miss a shot again. It’s so yellow, you won’t be able to miss it through the viewfinder.
