HyperOS 2/3 gestures on any launcher PT 3. (ROOTED devices only full tutorial/guide)

Further to my other posts, you're more than welcome now to try this out for yourself:

https://github.com/N01-r0/Hy03-Nav-3P

The patch also includes REDMI/Poco devices!

PLEASE ensure the following:

You have:

*HyperOS 2/3
*Are rooted
*System Launcher application is 6.x (com.miui.home)

NOTE:

This is still in infancy stages & it might not work on your device. However all the instructions are listed above & are very easy to follow.

Again for any issues please raise a request under the repo, ensure you provide what OS you're on & what version of the launcher you have & any error logs/codes.

I have provided photos of a what a successful run looks like. (I use adb via linux).

And the great thing is, if you want it of, just simply uninstall the module, reboot & you're back to stock, like nothing happened.

Thanks again hyperos FAM

HyperOS 3.0 gesture nav with any third party launcher! (Root only)

Finally after some digging I have managed to make 2 custom kernel su overlays which are both extremely lightweight, but when enabled they will allow you to finally use (left & right) native AOSP (bottom) custom piping gestures!

Essentially what this means is there isn't any other overhead, you don't need to download any gesture application.

I have shared two separate videos of this working & going through the settings changing the launcher & showing you that even after its changed the systems sticks to gesture only mode.

Currently, I'm working to bundle this into lsposed module so there is even less overhead required.

Will keep in touch
