After a month of not being able to view live footage because it had the error the firmware needed to be updated, this newest app update finally fixed the issue!
I tried everything possible from resetting, new batteries, disconnecting and reconnecting. No matter what it would try to update firmware and fail. It did still record events, just could never view it live.
I have 17 cameras in and around my house and I can finally have some peace knowing I can check my cameras again
