2.5 angle head for cleaning off or a 3.5 for finishing?

hi, long story short for years I used an angle head and corner box... I learnt how to tape using a tape tech angle head and corner box, it worked great.

when it came to buying my own tools I went for Colombia and well it's safe to say the corner box was just coz awful in comparison, constantly having to change the gasket and I got annoyed with it after a year or two and started using a compound tube and flusher.

i only tried the compound tube and flusher because I had a flusher which I used for whipping down the tapes and I had a compound tube on the van that I used for smaller jobs when I couldn't be arsed to get the bazooka out.

the compound tube and flusher was pretty awesome and I was happy with that for the 3/4 years i used it until my compound tube finally broke.

also just to add the flusher was great because It doesn't carry snots/bits like an angle head does and you don't have to join it into your flat joints either as it doesn't cut into the work like an angle head does.

I seen a second hand mudrunner on Facebook and thought I'd give that a try, after abit of a learning curve I got that running fantastic with both and angel head and a flusher...

I think I'm leaning towards using 2 angle heads with the mudrunner, I have a 3 inch which is great for cleaning the tapes off and fills out really well for the final coat but it does leave abit of an edge...

so my really long winded question is... do I got for a 3.5 angle head to finish or buy a 2.5 angel head for cleaning off to avoid the edges, I know it's ultimately just preference but I'm just trying to avoid spending £350 on an angle head I won't like 🫣

also for anyone wondering my latest angel head is a level 5 one and it works great, but I did have to release the tension on it for it to run properly.
