Hi everyone — I’m reaching out because I could really use some guidance.

After being laid off three years ago, I’ve been steadily working my way back through a tough job market here in the Capital District. I recently made it through the first stage of interviews for a promising opportunity, and the potential start date is May 18th.

The catch: I need a driver’s license.

I’ve been so focused on staying afloat that getting my license ended up being the one “basic” I kept pushing off — and now it’s become a real barrier. I’m trying to be proactive and finally get this done so I can move forward to a more stable future and secure this job.

I’m starting from scratch and on a tight timeline, so I’d really appreciate any advice, recommendations, or resources — driving schools, private instructors, DMV tips, Action Plan* or anything that could help me move efficiently from zero to licensed as quickly as possible.

I’ve seen how supportive this community can be, and I’m grateful for any help or direction you can share. Thanks so much for taking the time to chime in!

Hey yall, quick question this will be my first Office PA job, the production coordinator really wants to work with me anndd I have never worked with production office software.

Im strong suited and comfortable with CAM PA & Set PA prep but this?? It's got me sweating, I tried looking on YouTube to find some things to study (my learning styles are observe and then apply for the most part) and I CANT find anything???

Any tips, trips, resources I think I saw a website for a class or course for like 200.00+ USD and that's a huge chunk out of my finances .. before I make an investment like that Im looking for alternative solutions and things to study etc. Appreciate your help dearly
