Starbucks declined to share the exact number of layoffs or confirm whether they were Seattle-based roles.

The cuts, which had been rumored internally for several days, according to several employees, were part of the company’s restructuring of its technology organization, the company told employees in an internal message seen by The Seattle Times.

"He grabbed me, yanked onto my arm and my clothes and tried to pull me," Montez said. "And then I yanked away and was screaming at him and just kept running." She says the man retreated into nearby bushes after she broke free.

Montez, who has 86,000 followers on Instagram, quickly posted a video account of the attack — including footage of the suspect — to warn others.

The eccentric man - who was bald and sporting a mustache - was spotted on Dexter Ave near the city's downtown on Wednesday. In the video, it appears to be lightly raining, yet he is practically half-naked.

The person recording the footage appears to have been driving and waiting at a light to turn when he spotted the leotard-wearing man, who was also waiting for the light.
