I recently had to request a 4th delay due to waiting on document from Palermo. The Judge moved it into the Decision Phase rather than setting a new court date.

Has anyone experienced anything similar?

I have a case (1948 with minor issue) that was filed in 2024. This case was also capable of having a Cable Act case, but I would need to get a document from Palermo. I requested that document (through one of the service providers recommended here) back in February of 2025. I have requested delays for this case 4 times due to waiting on the Palermo document. The most recent delay request was this past Monday, but instead of issuing a new court date like the judge had done the previous 3 times, she moved it into the final decision phase.

I can view this in one of two ways...

1. She already thinks there's enough evidence to approve the case (all the documents necessary for 1948 minor issue argument were filed with the initial filing in 2024).

2. She is impatient with the repeated delays and wants to rule immediately. To me, this sounds unprofessional because we are indeed trying our hardest to get the document as quickly as possible.

What is your opinion? Or is guessing just a waste of time?

I'm hoping it's #1. There was a post here about 2 months ago from someone approved from the same Judge for the same type of case, so that makes me hopeful. The link to that post is below...
