Model is the Pura Raza Española Stallion. It was lost a long time ago, but the most likely location is at the Lucayan Resort in Ocean City, Maryland.

Hello! My leopard gecko Logy has been sick for a while now, and he was recently wounded by a cat. I’m doing my best in the situation I’m in now to keep him alive, but I fear he will not make it. In case he does not survive, I want him to get a taste of the outdoors. How do I safely do that without risking him running away? Maybe setting up a pen in the grass? Or building a makeshift leash to hold on to?

Hi everyone. I’m dealing with a really scary situation and could use some general advice or insight.

My leopard gecko, Logy, has been sick recently. He lost the tip of his tail a few little while ago, and the exposed part has been healing but is still very delicate.

Today I found that the pillow covering the top of his temporary hospital tank had been moved, his hide was flipped over, and he was missing. I eventually found him hiding under some toys in my room. He had fresh bleeding on the healing part of his tail and scratches on the top of his head.

I have three cats, and based on the scene, I’m almost certain one of them managed to get into the tank and attack him. I don’t know how long he was out, but he’s back in his normal enclosure now and resting.

I’m not asking for medical instructions — I just want to understand:

• what kind of injuries are typical after a cat attack

• whether the tail wound reopening is expected in a situation like this

• what signs of stress or shock I should watch for

• anything I should keep in mind to keep him calm and safe while he recovers
