Somebody gifted me a jar of honey - in combs. How do I get the goods out?

A friend of mine is keeping bees as a hobby and when he asked me if I wanted some honey I expected him to just get me a jar of honey. Well turns out he likes the taste of honey in combs.
It is certainly delicious, but for the purpose of making a cup of tea I'd love to get the combs/wax out.
Is there any good method to do this?
Because the combs are no longer within their frame, but were cut out I can't use a traditional honeyspinner.

Friends of mine who are soon to get married are great Lorcana enjoyers. As a wedding gift I thought I might create three personalized cards for them — one of her, one of him and one of the rings as some kind of (I don't play Lorcana myself so sorry if that sounds completely off) Exodia hand to play.

Since I'm not into diying this kind of matter there are some things I was hoping to do right with the help of crowd (You!) knowledge :)

- What kind of paper/printer/ink can I use for the cards? I own a high-end laser ink jet but does that suffice? How to achieve a holo finish?

- Are there limitations as to which kinds of cards can be played in a deck other than the coloured symbol on the cards? (Sorry if there's a fancy name for that)

Thank you so much in advance for any helpful advice!
