Is cradle of humanity a tough start for a new player

I got the game and all the dlcs super cheap on loaded and I'm just looking through the starts that are on offer

I saw part of a guide video that mentioned its difficult because there's not many allies for terra which at this point I'm unsure what that means

It says terran candidate is good for new players but maybe someone could advise me

I don't think I have done one Abyss puzzle.

not because i didnt want to but I thought the abyss objectives were pretty clear and they were story related.

Am I missing out on much ?? I honestly have no idea what i get.

Hi all

I'm using recruitable prisoners, uwe and more names mod.

I've tried to imprison an outlaw called samurai heavy ren in my house to recruit

Took all her gear, but I can't talk to her for some reason

Can't seem to find the npc on the mod authors' spreadsheet but the option to talk to just isn't there.

Anyone had anything similar??

I also have all the uwe, reactive world patches for it

I have 5 squad members and four of them can run about 25 mph and one can run at 21 mph

I always get the 4 to bodyguard the slowest one but it still seems like they run really far behind the slowest

Is there a mod or a setting I can use that will keep a tighter formation.

I had an idea that made me think wouldn't it be cool if we could do a sort of game of thrones style quest when you have to go around to all the leaders of factions to band together temporarily to push back the long night ( the fogmen)

You go round to all the leaders like Holy Pheonix, tengu,Tinfist,Longen and get them to pledge troops which become a temporary merc contract, maybe even the Holy Pheonix or inquisitors would join themselves.

Eventually it leads to you bringing them all to Mongrel or the abandoned in outpost on the edge of the fog and have a massive battle against an ever increasing raid of Fogmen until you eventually take out the mist Ghouls and fiends and the fogmen stop spawning

Everyone gives you a nice prize and then everyone goes back to hating each other

I imagine the work to do this would be insane but hey I can dream

I've ruined the continent a few times in my playthroughs using all these mods and vanilla, but I havent worked out if I can do a correct power switch that leads to a better, more peaceful kenshi

Does anyone know where I can find something like that like a list or anyone has any personal experiences of them making the wasteland better on any mod packs they use by wiping out the right factions
