Pride of possession is a subtle temptation, which all face in many varied ways.  We all cling to possessions in one form or another, but we have to arrive eventually at that point of spiritual growth where we know that all possessions, all gifts, all attainments, belong to God.  Of ourselves we are nothing; we live and move and have our being only in .. God.
