Anatomy with cadaver lab in undergrad
Hey everyone. My undergrad college offered cadaver lab this semester and I ended up taking it. I didn’t realize it’s pretty rare to be done in undergrad. Do you think this is a good thing to bring up or talk about in applications/ potential interviews? Is this something that will carry weight?
Weird situation- one of my strongest recommenders is going on sabbatical in a month and can only submit my letter before she leaves the country. The issue is that she leaves before applications open, so there’s no way for her to send my letters in the upcoming application for next term. Does anyone have any input on what I could do? I read about interfolio, a third party place that holds letters but idk that seems kinda sketchy
On my resume obviously I’m going to include my shadowing experiences and what I saw/ did. Should I include the exact hours here too or leave that detail for in the application itself where it’s designated to be put?
Hi everyone! Will be applying soon, and don’t have the most amazing GPA (3.3). Is research experience beneficial or well regarded on apps? Does anyone have any input or experience of if application committees value this and if it’s helpful to have?
Seeking gap year job advice! I’m planning on applying next cycle after working a year post-undergrad. In a perfect world I’m looking to have a lab job that is histology or pathology related, but options are slim. Would a job in microbiology still be relevant and beneficial on an application for pathPA? If anyone has advice or input it’d be appreciated!!
