What movies you love still haven’t gotten an upgrade

I made a post yesterday wondering when they would upgrade Assante’s the Odyssey and I”decided to take a look at my dwindling dvd collection and realised some of my childhoods favourite movies and mini-series still haven’t gotten their upgrades, so I wondered which movies or shows you guys love that are in desperate need of an upgrade, mine are in order of the photos.

Jason and the Argonauts by Nick willing 2000

Merlin by Steve Barron 1998

The Odyssey by Andrey Konchalovskiy 1997

Cleopatra by Franc Roddam 1999

Arabian nights by Steve Barron 2000

These to me are peak entertainment and cannot wait for my daughter to be old enough to watch these with me.

This is the best Odyssey

And they still haven’t done a proper transfer, the dvd I have is terrible quality, I’m hopping now with Nolan’s Odyssey and The Retuen with Fiennes this might get a refresh. Here’s to hopping

Question for the suffix “llari”

Hello,

I’m Albanian and my dad was a bektashi from the south of Albania and our name ends with llari. I never really thought much about it and thought it is a typical Albanian suffix but then I started playing europa universalis 5 and many of my Ottoman nobles names end with llari. Is that a Turkish name or is it like you’ll find some Greeks surnames ending with oglu, simply a suffix denoting lineage or place of birth. I hope this isn’t out of scope but any answer would be cool. Thanks all.
