First experience with Multiplayer.
So, I have played about 2000 hours, but never entered a multi player game. So I thought, why not try to finish some achievements?
First i tried to get into the Red Death Scenario - None could be connected :/
ok, moving on, there are more, right?
So, one to just play a game of multiplayer, sure, lets try that.
Get's into a lobby of a Duel, have No idea whats going on, but I mark myself as Ready.
My opponent does as well, then cancels it. Tells me to choose a civilization.
"Random is fine for me" i reply.
"I wasn't asking" was his reply.
Sure, i scroll at random and pick someone.
I get kicked out.
I try to get into some more Red Death without success.
I see the same guy still haven't found a player (I wonder why?).
So, I jump in again, quickly scroll through and pick Rome
(he had picked Gitarja).
He starts the game with a "Good luck friend".
"Alright, maybe i misjudged this guy" i thought.
So, i get close to a wonder, with some desert. Nice. I go for a religion. Gets a +9 holy site.
As soon as i pick my religion (FIRST!) (Work ethics + Crusade).
He pauses the game.
"Do you really think work ethic and crusade would be allowed?"
And kick me out directly.
What the heck.
So, anyone up for playing some multiplayer?
Edit: Why is it allowed to kick people out from a game like that? Imagine that in other games, like sc2.
"No, i am losing now, so I kick out my opponent" (lol).
