Borescore risk on high mileage 997.1 C4S

I’m tentatively considering selling my 981 Cayman S and buying a 997.1 C4S. Main reason being is that the back seats will go a long way for me and my family and my daughter can join us.

I’ve got my eyes on one specific 997.1 C4S. It has 114k miles, so a bit high for sure. But it’s a beautiful example, with a unique color and interior trim. It’s out of state, so orchestrating any inspection like a borescope outside the normal inspection might be a bit difficult.

From photos of the car, there looks to be either soot or long term dirt on the left side exhaust tail pipes. Could be a hint of something worse, or it could be ok.

Anyways - I was wondering what others think of borescore risk on a higher mileage car and if it’s worth investigating, or, not worth the time.

Thanks in advance!

Editing for an update:

I’ve decided the car is worth the investigation.

Best case scenario: there is no bore scoring; it’s clean and well maintained; it’s a beautiful 911 to have a drive until it makes sense to do an engine rebuild.

Mid case scenario: there’s mild bore scoring, it’s still clean and decently maintained, I can drive it again until it makes sense to do an engine rebuild.

Worst case scenario: it’s hosed, I’m out some cash for some investigation, I continue to do the thing with my current car.
