Need help with security
Need help: Landlord refusing to return security (Delhi/Gurgaon)
Hey guys,
I recently moved out of my flat and my landlord is refusing to return my security deposit (~₹9k).
I had informed him almost a month in advance (have chats/screenshots), but there was no formal rent agreement. Now he’s just saying “1 month notice” and trying to avoid paying anything.
I’ve even offered him to deduct 1–2k or more and give the rest, but he’s either ignoring or not giving a clear response.
At this point, I don’t expect the full amount back, but I still want to try recovering whatever I can.
If anyone’s up for having a bit of fun and calling him on my behalf while mimicking someone influential or a big shot, I’m open to that too.
Would really appreciate any practical help or suggestions. Thanks!
