Body scanning during TRE, and the post-tremor integration period

I will do the best I can to describe all this. Over time I've definitely reached a place which is way beyond the domain of words. But I do feel motivated to try to write about this experience.

I got into TRE in 2022, and at a certain point reached a sticking point. Recently, this big blockage which had been there for a few years actually cleared, and I'm making some progress again.

After struggling with this blockage for a while, I got the idea to try tense-and-release with the blocked areas. That's what opened things up again. So I decided to implement that throughout my whole body, using an audio that guides me through each body part, one at a time.

What I have found is that moving my awareness into certain parts of my body has such a direct effect on the tremor pattern. For example, when the audio brought me to my left arm, and I moved awareness into my left arm. My whole left arm and hand started to go wild instantly. The same thing happens with my legs. Like the connection between putting awareness in that area, and tremors appearing there, is so instant, and easier to observe with the audio guiding me part by part.

So then the next part is also really amazing me. After I loop through the progressive muscle relaxation enough, it reaches a point where I can remain totally open to more tremors if they do want to happen, but the tremors are "finished". So then I am laying there in this very relaxed, open state, continuing to follow the progressive muscle relaxation. What I then feel is very, very subtle tremors and subtle energy, not strong enough to cause a physical motion, but definitely something there.

I think that "second stage" of practice, of just being there in the relaxed/open state, and even experiencing the subtler tremors, is actually really important. I didn't get to it very often because my blockage would come up before the tremors "finished".

The level scaling feature on random battles goes as far as to let lower base stat pokemon get closer to level 99, and higher base stat pokemon closer to level 70. I guess they have some kind of calculation that takes everything into consideration.

What if they expanded this to include basic, stage 1, and even baby pokemon? And just widened the level range? So for example Mewtwo or Zacian-C would be like level 40. Masquerain would be like level 70. And Pichu would be level 99. Something like that.

I think a lot of players love the baby, basic and stage 1 pokemon. I think this would make them happy. All Pokemon could be equalized with the level scaling, not just final forms.

I don't have much conviction that anyone would ever do this. I mean, if there's a way we can advocate for it, or for a new format to be created, I'm interested. But its more of a theoretical post about how fun this would be.

First of all, this thread is for retainers who are really serious about preventing wet dreams and never ejaculating, ever. So if that's not you then this thread is not for you. I don't want a bunch of wishy washy retainers filling the replies with wishy-washy retainer thoughts. Let's get the real serious retainers in here please.

Had a dream with some sexual content, and was on the verge of ejaculating. But became lucid enough to stop just in time. Woke up really relieved to still have my SR in tact. Personally, I hate the feeling of wet dreams. I feel a huge loss of energy. Some of you guys don't feel it as much, but I feel the loss. So I wanted to share this to give some solidarity for those looking to prevent wet dreams themselves.

A lot of it comes from having a strong will to retain. It's amazing how I can be so fired up about SR in my waking life, but in a dream, totally forget it the moment a sexual scenario begins. That forgetfulness is something I am trying to replace with mindfulness. When you really recall the wet dream and how your mindset was during it, you'll see the loss of lucidity, and that doesn't have to happen.

Whereas last night my will to retain was with me even in a pretty non-lucid dream. That thought, "Oh, no... I shouldn't ejaculate." Was just there enough to protect me.

So how do you make sure you can always have at least the minimum lucidity from this day forward? I don't know. I think it takes practice. Setting the intention. Knowing that wet dreams and ejaculation are NOT your "biological needs", but actually semen retention is your true biological need. If you have a wishy washy attitude about wet dreams, you leave the door open for them to happen. You'll never know the full potential of SR. You have to gain control of your sexual energy, even in your dreams. If you want the full potential of SR.

So I'm expressing my gratitude and also preparing for the new day. Warding off wet dreams has been an ongoing battle for the last couple of years. I know they could attempt to strike again tonight. Posting this feels like a part of my wet dream prevention protocol.

I like random battles because once in a while you get to use a fun setup like this. The switch-outs were getting kinda obvious, I would go to use Earthquake and the other player would switch in Squawkabilly. So on turn 21 I use Future Sight with Slowking. Turn 22 Chilly Reception to bring Krookodile in. And then EQ on Glimmora. The way I set it up, if they switched in Squawkabilly, I'd get the KO with future sight, even though EQ would miss. But if they left in Glimmora, I get the KO with earthquake. So that was fun. The end!
