I just decided to make a reddit account to ask some questions. I will be posting in a few places to get more opportunity.
My child has a class trip coming up at the beginnignof next week where the students will be gone for one night. My child has worked extremely hard this year and has gotten amazing grades. We've been through hell and back moving from a abusive living situation so id really love for my kid to go on this trip so she can forget about reality for a minute while having fun with her friends.
I just started a new job after moving and do not get paid for 2 weeks but the students have to have the trip paid for by Wednesday. The total cost of the trip which includes room and food and transportation is $160. It was more but I got a waiver that wavied the majority of the cost.
I had just been given this notice late last week because my child forgot the paper in her desk and when they reminded her she asked for a new paper to bring me.
So I am here posting to see if there's anything at all I can do to make these funds?
I can do house cleaning, yard work, child minding, dog walking, shopping & delivery, I can do simple hair cuts, hair coloring (youd have to buy the color), cooking and baking and anything else you can possibly think of.
I work my day job from 7am-3pm but can do it anytime after.
