My dog died a year ago, what should I do with his piece of fur?

My old dog died a year ago now, and on the night he did I cut a small piece of fur off to remember him by. For the past year its just been floating in my draw unprotected. I want to do something with it before I accidentally knock it and the tiny piece of fur I collected goes poof.

Any ideas? Should I put it in a zip lock bag or something? I truly have no idea what to do. A frame is a bit much because again its a tiny piece of fur, it'd be a bit useless. I also don't want to seal it away forever, I want to have the ability to touch the fur if I ever want to.

Important to note, the fur is barely secured together. There's tape at the end (think of a paint brush), but if you sneezed on it 90% of the fur would blow away.

One reason why listening is so hard for me is because even if I know the vocabulary, 4 seconds later I've already forgotten what they said to listen to the new information.

By the time the sentence is done I've forgotten most of what was said.

Any advice?
