Anatomy Help

Made a quick concept map for the rotator cuff while working with an anatomy student recently.

One thing that’s helped a lot of students I work with is organizing anatomy into relationships/patterns instead of trying to brute memorize isolated facts.

For example:

  • “SIT” muscles sharing insertion
  • muscle names matching their origins
  • grouping muscles by location/action

Honestly anatomy became way less overwhelming for me once I started studying this way, so figured I’d share in case it helps anyone else.
