Lately I’ve been trying to change how I approach my plays.

I used to go for bigger slips (4–5 legs), but I kept running into the same problem, one random leg ruins everything even if the read was mostly right.

Now I’ve been sticking more to:

  • 2–3 legs max
  • Props where the line feels slightly off vs recent performance/usage
  • Trying to avoid anything too “public” or obvious

For example, I’ve been looking more at:

  • Player props where minutes/role quietly increased
  • Matchups where defensive stats don’t match perception
  • Lines that haven’t adjusted yet to recent trends

Not saying it’s perfect, but it feels more consistent so far.

Curious how you guys approach it:

  • Are you still running bigger slips or keeping it tight?
  • Do you prioritize “confidence” or payout?
  • What’s been working best for you recently?

Trying to find that balance between not playing it too safe but also not just donating on long slips.
