My mind drifted back to Homie’s “American Girls” today. Since it isn’t on Spotify (gasp!), I booted up the YouTube machine and found a few poor-quality recordings. They didn’t quite satisfy the nostalgia kick; I remembered the song, and the guitar line in particular, as being pretty tasty and well produced. Which led me to this video: https://youtu.be/Lox2u8-Jx8U and it’s just… a lot. All at once.

Anyway, I would love to hear what it brings to mind for those of us who remember Meet the Deedles and are hungry for more lore during those years (like that often-forgotten Kurt Cobain–inspired hairstyle).
