Does this sound like a good sign, or should I keep looking elsewhere?

I had an interview here (pepsi warehouse)today that lasted about 15 minutes. The interviewer said he still had other candidates to interview and would reach out Thursday or Friday. During the interview, he explained how orientation works, asked when I could start, and seemed happy when I said immediately. He also went over the job responsibilities. Does this sound like a good sign, or should I keep looking elsewhere?

How do warehouse employers typically handle dismissed larceny charges during background checks? Many companies say they review cases individually, but how often do dismissed larceny charges still affect hiring decisions for warehouse or inventory jobs? What factors seem to matter most?

I’m trying to get a job as a PCA (personal care assistant) at a nursing home in North Carolina and wanted to hear from people who’ve been through the hiring process. I had a past theft charge that was dismissed and is in the process of being expunged, and I’m serious about moving forward and doing the right thing, but I’m a little nervous about the background check part.

For anyone who works or has worked as a PCA in a nursing home in North Carolina, how strict are the background checks? Has anything ever come up even if it was dismissed or expunged? And if it does come up, do they usually give you a chance to explain or is it more of an automatic disqualification?

I really want to work in healthcare and help people, I’m just trying to understand what to expect and if I still have a fair shot. Any advice or real experiences would mean a lot.
