Hi everyone, I'm an Indian Man, currently in Germany on a student visa. I want to marry my fiancé who is still in India, and we plan to do the marriage soon.

I've read that for a family reunion visa (spouse visa) to be granted, the marriage must have taken place before the student enters Germany. But I wasn't married when I came here - does that mean I can't bring him on a spouse visa?

Has anyone successfully married after arriving in Germany as a student, and still managed to bring their spouse later?

I would really appreciate any personal experiences or advice. A This process seems confusing and stressful, so hearing from others who've been through it would really help!
